Designed as a general introduction, this edge protection training course aims to familiarise delegates with the design, construction and operation of edge protection products. A complete overview is given, covering laws and regulations, products, maintenece and storage, as well as mounting instructions.
Practical sessions give delegates the opportunity to put theory into practice. Working from drawings, delegates have to select the correct products and brackets from a range of equipment and build appropriate edge protection, also making the necessary adjustments. A strong emphasis is placed on safety and appropriate working practices throughout the course, especially during the practical sessions.
